Since its release in 2006, Roblox has seen an immense growth in popularity and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. The game platform has over 58 million active daily users in 2023. The growth of Roblox comes from the game developers on the platform and in 2023 they have been pushing the bounds of what is possible.
Roblox classics like Adopt Me, Welcome to Bloxbug, and Pet Simulator X are continuing to shine. In 2023, we saw Welcome to Bloxburg sell for a whopping estimated $100M to Embracer Group, a Swedish game holding company. We also saw Pet Simulator X smash records for most active players and cause Roblox's infrastructure to go down multiple weekends in a row. We're also seeing some new games emerge like Front Lines, a high-quality FPS, that is establishing a new bar for what fidelity is possible in Roblox that is on par with games like Call of Duty.
